I love a bit of geometric and this rug ticks all the boxes for me, it comes in two different sizes and so it can adapt to any room! Rockett have some really incredible things on their website, they are always bang on trend with the latest interior products and styles so if you haven't already, go and check them out!

May motivations..
So as we approach the end of May with caution amongst gale-force winds and spurts of sunshine, it has been another month of inspirational shoots and amazing new finds! I went on my first Country Living shoot last week; we were based at a house in Winchelsea, a remote little town near Rye with the smallest train station I've ever come across! I really enjoyed working alongside Alaina Binks and Ben Kendrick, Deputy Home Editor and Home Editor at the magazine. One of my favourite pieces on set was this fantastic rug by Rockett St. George:

SPRING HAS (ALMOST) SPRUNG!
So at the moment I have the pleasure of working at the Ideal Home offices part time - very exciting - and it is fantastic to be surrounded by the constant buzz of up and coming trends and be able to witness new products as soon as they become available - dream! And seeing as Spring is fast approaching - I'll ignore the hail and snow storm earlier today - the trend that seems to be taking over the interiors world is a botanical-based one. This suggests 'flowers' to me, and I am not normally a floral fanatic; I can appreciate a good flower but I don't think I could tell you many names..and floral themes can easily bore me. There I said it. However, there are some great new products within this botanical trend that I have already fallen in love with and must buy immediately!
For example, I think these oven gloves and matching tea towel from Marks and Spencer are gorgeous, and being a huge fan of the colour green I love these unusual shades being used together and the bold leaf prints. Well done Marks n' Sparks!
